Black with Gold

I finally got to wear my gold link bracelet I bought on ideeli! I paired it with a sheer black top I had and dark jeans. I threw on some gold hoop earrings and wore one of my expensive pairs of black pumps (I don't own a lot of expensive shoes... unless you're going to wear them everyday -- why bother? -- I want to get my money's worth!) I think it's a fun, going-out-for-drinks outfit.

Bright Colors and Black

I wore an outfit to work the other day that I really loved! I had bought this cute black skirt with pockets from Banana Republic and was dying to wear it. I paired it with an Old Navy top that I just got in the mail and a pair of Nine West heels that had been sitting in my closet waiting for the perfect outfit.

Kimono-Style Belts

One of my favorite accessories - as I might have mentioned before - is my kimono belt. I actually own three "kimono-style" belts -- in black, white and brown. I love that you can add them to any outfit! I generally pair the belts with dresses that might be a little baggy or to bring some separation to a solid colored dress.

I recently found (yet another) new dress in my closet that I had yet to wear. I am pretty sure it had been hanging in my closet for well over a year. I paired it with an assortment of white accents - including my white kimono belt.

Monday "Must Haves"

I figured I would make Monday a day where I would post some "must-have" items on my shopping list. Some items I have purchased and some ...well, I am waiting for them to go on sale (or for a great coupon code!)

I never used to be a fan of gold -- always leaning toward silver. But, lately, I have been wearing a lot more gold jewelry and I came across this boyfriend watch that I really like!

I am a little upset that this bathing suit is no longer available online. I actually had the bathing suit top in my shopping cart and as I searched for a bottom to go with it -- my size wasn't available in the original matching bottom -- the top became SOLD OUT!
